It's here....

I got my corset today and a few days ago I ordered some Thayer's Medicated Super Hazel. Plus, my mom gave me a powder box that had belonged to my late grandmother.

I put on my corset with the help of my fiance, he's kind of supportive (meaning that he doesn't want me wearing my corset 23/7. I should call it a waist cincher, but corset is funner to say! lol

Like I said in my previous post, my waist is at a whopping 40" at this moment and the corset that I now own is a tentative 36". I really wanted to ease into the whole process of waist training and I think that I have accomplished that.

I am actually wearing it right now and I must admit, all the horror stories of corsets being painful are far from my mind at this point in time. I feel very comfortable and the corset is laced snugly enough to suck in my gut,but not crush my innards!! lol

Perfect posture may or may not begin to take it's toll. I am confident in my recent physical therapy and already practicing better posture with out the use of a corset.

As for having a waist cincher while wearing a bra, I had an older bra that the under wire began popping out. I pulled the under wire all the way out and it works wonderfully! The waist cincher and under wireless bra combo give great support and already makes my figure look better!

Well, I have to begin getting ready for work!
I will keep you posted on my progress, if anyone ever reads this! lol

'Til then,
Kat

Excitement

So, I am 24 and a mother of twins. I've always been a bit odd, but odd is good sometimes.
I recently received my tax return and now I am thrilled to be saying that I am going to be joining the corsetted community!

I ordered my first corset and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.
I went against all the things that I have read and opted for a ready made corset.

I know this is a no no but I need something to test the waters and since it is underbust I am hoping that only a few measurements will have sufficed. I am not planning on wearing my corset often at first.
I have ordered a leather corset that is gorgeous and sturdy. I made sure that the corset had many bones including spiral bones and more bones to reinforce the grommets.
I also am assured that the busk is made of steel too.

I am so excited I could scream.

Plus the fact that I want to lose weight and I know about healthy eating and exercise as to not atrophy.

Another reason I have decided to take on the challenging myself by learning the ways of corsetry discipline is that I recently found out that I have mild scoliosis and this is a great way to help me with my posture, which I have been working on with physical therapy anyways. (Which includes daily exercises.)

So I shall keep track of my progress here!

So excited...........hehe.
